Ember Skye was launched into the fashion industry in February of 2010. Introducing a high-end handbag collection that’s been turning heads anywhere from casual nights out to red carpet events from Paris, France all the way back to Its home in Los Angeles, CA.

Only 22 years old at the time, Amber Fair-Vanderloos had just graduated with a degree in Merchandise Marketing from FIDM and decided there was no better time than the present to start her own label. Pairing her knowledge with youthful ambition and a creative vision for becoming a handbag designer, the Ember Skye label was off and running. Not without it’s fair share of hard work, of course!

In August 2011, Kristin Vanderloos joined the Ember Skye label as a partner to Amber. With over 10 years of experience in design and marketing, Kristin was able to help develop the Ember Skye brand working with Amber to develop new collections.

The energy and creativity between the duo is the perfect recipe for turning a handbag label into a developed and desired brand. Both designers work closely with one another to get a well rounded grasp of what consumers are looking for and to make sure each and every collection is well thought out every step of the way.

Amber and Kristin continue to be inspired by their fans, from the everyday chic gal to celebrities like Ali Larter, Ashley Greene, Lindsay Lohan, Hayden Panitierre and Cameron Diaz who all carry Ember Skye handbags.
